Rapid relief from anxiety

Client K scheduled an urgent session with me last week, writing that she had been experiencing severe anxiety for several days and waking up with a racing heartbeat. “Help me feel calmer. I want to get rid of this stress and anxiety!” Often, the problem doesn’t go away after just one session, but today, when I asked if we would continue working on the anxiety, she said that most of it had subsided, and we worked on physical pain in her shoulders instead.
